The Challenge:
Riot Games’ upcoming fighter, Project L, needed a pitch as ambitious as its vision. At the center was the World Tour—a global tournament concept demanding a stage that embodied both sci-fi spectacle and competitive legitimacy. This wasn’t just about building an arena; it was about designing an esports event visualization that felt like a world built for battle. Every angle, light, and surface needed to pulse with the energy of Riot’s brand and the futuristic tone of Project L.
The Solution:
Concept development began with architectural and stage design studies that shaped the event design direction. Spatial layouts were blocked out in SketchUp and refined in Blender for scale, depth, and clarity. Lighting, texture, and branded motion elements were layered to heighten atmosphere and fidelity of the 3D visualization. Finalized in Enscape, the cinematic flythrough showcased a stage alive with spectacle, symmetry, and competitive energy—an environment that merged Riot’s world-building prowess with the kinetic personality of Project L.
